• IMoST - MCT transporters targeting

  The aim of this project is to develop radiofluorinated molecules that are specific substrates of MCT1 or MCT4, both lactate transporters. It will allow to visualise the tumour expression of these transporters by PET imaging. This functional imaging should therefore allow (i) a stratification of patients according to transporters expression with a prognostic value and (ii) the selection of patients who could benefit from a treatment based on specific inhibitors of both transporters.

• IMoST - Melanoma targeted radionuclide therapy: effects on antitumor immune response and therapeutic strategies of combination

  We study the effects of the melanoma targeted radionuclide therapy on the antitumoral immune response, using [131I]ICF01012 in monotherapy and combined with immune checkpoint inhibitors.

• IMoST - Pre-targeted radioimmunotherapy

  The project consists in developing radiolabelled/fluorescent probes and studying their recognition against a functionalized monoclonal antibody in an immunotargeting context. The multimodality aspect of this imaging/therapeutic approach and the different antibodies used make it a potentially universal strategy.

• IMoST - Proteoglycans PET imaging

  To allow early diagnosis of chondrosarcoma (cartilage tumor) in PET imaging, design and synthesis of novel bifunctional ligands are carried out. These molecules capable of complexing a beta+ emitter element specifically target the cartilage aggrecan.

• IMoST - Translational research in nuclear medicine

  Two First into-human clinical trials are currently conducted in our team. The first is a molecular imaging trial which explores the capacity of the [99mTc]Tc-NTP15-5 to diagnose cartilage disease. The second one is an internal radiotherapy trial, a field in high expansion in NM. Its main objective will to test [l131I]ICF01012, a new radiotracer for the treatment of metastatic melanoma.
